TRANSPORT RESEARCH CENTRE (CDV) performs research and development activities and provides professional expertise and service support for public and private sector in the field of transport. It deals with key fields, such as road safety, technology of construction, maintenance, repairs and reconstructions of transport infrastructure, including geotechnical aspects and diagnostics of transport structures. Furthermore, it deals with impacts of transport and its infrastructure on the environment, traffic psychology, traffic education, parking systems, and much more. In addition, it focuses on smart mobility and new technologies, such as autonomous systems in transportation. This year CDV introduces: - special drone used for inspections of bridge constructions, - monitoring vehicle for parking surveys, - low-cost sensors measuring air quality, - unique concrete protecting emulsion FLAX.
