The workshop will be lead by Věra Pražáková who creates macramé decorations under the Hendvery brand. She is your guide to the world of modern macramé, loving challenges and always looking for inspiration. Her goal is not only to teach you the art of macramé, but also to share the joy and creativity that this craft skill can bring.
Applique of various motifs based on selected photo pictures and designs of quilting methods.
Old African textile technique by hand using all types of textile rest pieces from uni to brocates.
The class will offer different methods how to produce half square triangles effectively and use theme in many blocks and patterns.
Patterns for stripes, sides and edges, use of quilting rulers for a regular quilting machine.
Try traditional and non-traditional options for printing and stamping on fabric and paper and make an original diary or sketchbook.

The participants will create realistic, but funny or cartoon-like faces, where the background and the face are the same fabric.
