Over more than twenty years of their successful existence, the TECHAGRO, SILVA REGINA, BIOMASS fairs have developed into a prestigious event with a high professional credit, being one of the leading events of this kind in Central Europe.

TECHAGRO ranks among the three largest agricultural fairs in Europe, and for its 2018 season, the Brno Exhibition Centre has been completely sold out again. Most of the brands of agricultural machinery operating on the European market are represented here, with a large proportion of foreign exhibitors. This trade fair focuses rather on plant production; in Hall A1, a post-harvest technology lounge has been set up, and agricultural equipment has more space available than in previous years. Exhibitors will also present equipment for municipalities. Trends such as digital technologies, precision farming or the use of satellite navigation systems are represented.

TECHAGRO 2018 will be visited by incoming purchase missions; general meeting of the Agrarian Chamber of the Czech Republic and a conference titled The Future of Czech Agriculture will be held. As part of the GRAND PRIX competition, a new award will be granted – SOIL WATER RETENTION FRIENDLY – for machinery and technologies that help improve soil water retention.
